Arthur Davidson
Most Pheasant Runners know that Davidson Road was named for Arthur Davidson, one of the founders of the world famous Harley-Davidson motorcycle company. Did you also know that in 1940 he built a home at 19605 Davidson Road, which is within a short distance of Pheasant Run, (see aerial view) with its entrance on what is now his eponymic road? Sadly, he died only a short distance away in a vehicle accident on Greenfield Road. You can learn more about him on the Wikipedia page dedicated to him.
